DONATED SO FAR:

Since day one we said we have to be more than a clothing brand, we have to be a brand that has a purpose, driven by a mission, and MUST give back. We're grateful for our amazing community of customers, the #DSAARMY who now spread across 27 countries who've enabled us to support some fantastic charities and causes, from multiple veteran charities to the Salvation Army disaster appeal with the Australian Bushfires. Your support is what fuels the mission.

Defence Sporting Apparel is honoured to working with the Gordonvale RSL club Sub Brand and helping them raise funds for the rebuild of their hall, which has a deep history in the local community. Gordonvale has a deep military history with the Australian Defence Force, with many current and forming serving personal in the Navy, Army and Air Force. What makes this RSL club unique is its relationship with soldiers from the US Army; when soldiers from the US 503rd Infantry regiment were based in Gordonvale for Parachute training camp for World War 2.

The Salvation Army Australia is an international Christian movement, united by faith and giving hope where it’s needed most. Across Australia – in cities, country towns and rural communities – our work touches every demographic and age group. We’re involved in national issues while also bringing hope to people who may be experiencing hardship or injustice. Since our foundations in nineteenth century London, we express our faith in charitable work to provide both the spiritual and the social support. We believe that with one hand we reach out to God and with the other we reach out to the world. As both a church and charity, we can preach and speak about justice, compassion, and other issues that support the welfare of others and see them as a whole person – body, mind and spirit.
